This week's founder story comes from Valentin Korman, founder of K-Sciences, which provides high-tech R&D services to businesses who are looking to invent or prototype a new product. 10 years ago, he was contracting at Marshall Space Flight Center when he decided to launch his own venture.
After some initial success, he went the route of trying to bootstrap and invent his own products, which was met with a lukewarm response, ultimately leading him back a day job. Later, a company came to him asking him to build some technology, which kickstarted the future of K-Sciences as an R&D provider for other businesses.
